The Apostolic Faith Church is a worldwide Christian organization, with headquarters in Portland, Oregon. As a Trinitarian and fundamental church, our doctrinal beliefs are the basic Bible truths, including the definite experiences of salvation, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Since its founding in 1906, our organization has grown and established branch churches across the United States and around the world. All of our congregations enjoy a warm and traditional environment, where we endeavor to preach the Word of God in its fullness and integrity. A primary means of evangelism in the Apostolic Faith Church is the printing and distribution of Christian literature.

Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 7:24,25 that whoever hears his words and doeth them, he will liken them to a wise man that builds his house on a rock. And when the rain and winds come to beat on it, it will not fall because it was built on a rock. In 1957, God impressed upon Bishop Eli Williams to start a bible based assembly. The ministry settled in Toledo, Ohio and began to form the foundation of what is now The True Church of God of the Apostolic Faith. Over the course of 66 years, the church experienced growth and reached plateaus unimaginable by our founder. God used Bishop W. T. Myers to have a vision of reaching out and expanding. The church began to have a presence in Newport News, VA; Detroit, MI; Ottawa Lake, MI; Phoenix, AZ; Orangeburg, SC; New York City, NY; Hessen Castle and Cheapside, JA.

Only by the Power of God, have we been able to sustain the winds and the rain. Only because, we have been built on a strong foundation have we been able to stand.

Now through the vision of Bishop Daniel Day, God is allowing us to prosper on the solid rock. He has called us to stand on Christ the solid rock, put our trust in God and let Him build us. Solomon testified in Psalm 127:1 "Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it". Without any hesitation, we can acknowledge that the Lord has built us over the last 66 years. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us; for we live, we breath, we move and have our being in Him.
