Bishop Daniel Day was made the Presiding Bishop of The True Church of God of The Apostolic Faith, by the Advisory Board of The True Church Of God Of The Apostolic Faith in the year of our Lord 2009.
Brother Daniel F. Day was baptized into the Body of Christ in 1965; he was brought to True Church as a teenager by his father, Brother Millard Day. As the Apostle and Presiding Bishop of All True Churches of God, Bishop Williams, shepherded Brother Day and stirred up the gift of God in him, he saw qualities in Brother Day himself did not know or understand what God had in store for him.
Brother Day was called to be a minister in 1965. In 1976, he was married to Patricia Rayford. In 1979, he was ordained an Elder, by his brother Bishop Myers. In 1985, God saw fit to move Elder Day’s ministry to Detroit, MI, where he became pastor of the local church there. God elevated Elder Day to the office of Bishop in 1995. He served the Detroit church as a Bishop and Pastor until 2009, when he was made Presiding Bishop over The True Church of God of the Apostolic Faith.
These are accolades to Bishop Daniel Day that were given to him by the unbound grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Bishop Day has served the church continually without complaint. He has served in every capacity from janitor to Pastor.
Bishop Days’ unfeigned faith in God blesses the body of Christ, he is known as a stern pastor and as a meek shepherd who cares for the sheep of God. Bishop Day is Gods’ gift to his people that we might continue this journey without fear and be faithful unto death and we that overcome shall not be hurt of the second death.
